RPS.3 is a natural substance discovered by Professor Joon Kim from the Department of Life Sciences at Korea University, who is affiliated with Ha:L, a biotech company that researches and develops cancer diagnostic kits. RPS.3 has been recognized for its wrinkle improvement and anti-aging properties and is listed in the International Cosmetic Ingredients Collection (ICID).
The HA:L RPS.3 Signature Ampoule Set, developed by SM Ha:L, is a high-functional ampoule cosmetic that incorporates RPS.3 and various other beneficial ingredients. The set includes four products: the Signature Base Ampoule, Green Cica Ampoule, Whitening.H Ampoule, and Calming Red Ampoule.
The unique feature of this set is that it allows users to mix the desired vial ampoule (Green Cica, Whitening.H, Calming Red) directly with the Signature Base Ampoule for a customized ampoule experience. The products are made with natural substances, ensuring they are non-toxic, and can be easily used at home.
Seo Geum-suk, the CEO of SM Ha:L, stated, “With the introduction of this set, which utilizes RPS.3, we plan to develop various skincare lines including ampoules in the future.” She also mentioned the continuous research and development of functional products tailored to different skin types.
In addition, Ha:L, a biotech venture specializing in cancer treatments and anti-aging research, presented research findings on the potential use of RPS3 enzyme for skin cancer treatment at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR2022) conference.
Through the study of DNA repair sites of the DNA damage repair enzyme called “RPS3,” Ha:L discovered the function of non-toxic natural peptides in restoring damaged DNA and treating cells. The practical potential of this technology was announced earlier this year at the AACR conference held in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
